Description:
Hull Rape Crisis is a charity created to serve the local community, providing counselling, advice and information to female and male victims of rape, sexual assault and abuse.
It deals with hundreds of enquiries a year and relies on the generosity of funders and volunteers.
4 x Trustees
We need to recruit four skilled trustees to join our board.
We are looking for people with strategic vision, independent judgement and a willingness to give time and commitment to being a trustee. We are particularly looking for people with:
• Finance experience at senior level
• Experience of Human Resource Management
• Legal skills – to advise on all aspects of law, including company and charity law
• Fundraising and PR/Marketing skills
The post of trustee is unpaid but will provide you a great deal of experience and satisfaction. All reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
We are particularly keen to achieve a more diverse board of trustees and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
