Description:
Case is a comparitively small charity in Hull providing training and support to over 100 people with learning disability and also suffering multiple disadvantages.However like many other charity based organisations raising adequate, sustainable funding causes connsiderable difficulty. To maximise the potential of these two accolades and to positively address their funding problems CASE enlists the support of the local business community.
CASE launched the 250 club in 2004 and now has many local businesses signed up to offer such support by giving £250 a year. The aim is to introduce 250 local companies into the club. For a minimum donation of £250.00 companies receive a membership certificate, quarterly newsletters and invitations to attend regular networking events including the Annual Dinner. With this membership businesses have the knowledge that they helping a truely local charity that supports trainees and their families in Hull and the East Riding.

CASE was set up in 1985 by the parents/carers of people with a learning disability. The charity caters for the needs of people in Hull and the East Riding with a mild to moderate disability.
CASE provides a safe environment to make the most of the opportunities available enabling personal development and improving life chances and quality of life. Trainees are able to grow and develop work based skills such as ICT, Printing, Softcraft, Woodwork, Gardening and Catering skills and have the support of a qualified welfare team.
