- To contribute to the development of your future workforce
- To improve your existing employees' skills e.g. coaching, leadership, communication, presentation and problem solving through working with young people.
- To deliver your corporate responsibility by working with the local community
- To develop a better understanding of changes in education
- To develop partnerships which help break down barriers between business and education
- To act as a 'consultant' to help education understand the needs of employers.
What can you get involved in?
Work Related Learning - Helping young people to understand the relevance of their learning by applying it to a business situation.
Professional Development Placements - Inviting education professionals into your workplace to ensure they have access to current, relevant information.
Enterprise - Supporting activities designed to give young people the opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge in a business context.
Work Experience - Providing quality work experience placements.
Labour Market Information - helping the EBP to develop a picture of employment within the Humber Sub Region: www.lmihumber.co.uk
Curriculum Development - Acting as a 'consultant' to support the development of a range of curriculum resources linked to the world of work.
