Health
In order to improve residents’ health, a combination of physical and mental health and wellbeing factors must be addressed. The Health and Wellbeing Strategic Delivery Partnership of ONE HULL is working towards improving the quality of life for local people and this means improving homes, schools, local services and public transport, reducing crime the fear of crime and antisocial behaviour, and promoting healthy living.
This is a very broad agenda and there are many roles private sector representatives can play in improving health in the city. These can be very basic and start with your own employees but further opportunities such as advising the Health and Wellbeing Partnership or joining the Primary Care Trust Board provide more strategic options.
